Spellings
Each week, children will learn a spelling rule or pattern in class. Our weekly spelling quiz will take place on Friday and will include words linked to the spelling rule we have been learning that week, as well as a few words from previously taught spelling patterns to help children retain and apply their learning.

Please see below the spellings that children are expected to know by the end of Year 6.
Please ensure your child has:
- a change of shoes for the field.
- a coat or waterproof (we usually try to play outside, even if it is raining).
- a fresh water bottle, a packed lunch (unless school dinner) and a healthy break time snack.
- a small pencil case
- a reading book
- PE will be on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning this term (Autumn 1).
